This annual event is organised by the London Legal Support Trust in aid of the valuable work done by pro bono legal advice centres across London and the South-East. The walk is 10km long and passes through the legal landmarks in the centre of London. It attracts a wide range of participants, from the senior judiciary, to solicitors and members of the Bar. This year's walk raised £460,000, with 5,200 people taking part.
You can find the website of the London Legal Support Trust here.
Members taking part in the walk included Mark Herbert QC, Mark Blackett-Ord, Penelope Reed QC, Barbara Rich, David Rees, Anna Clarke, Joseph Goldsmith, Mark Baxter, William East, Jordan Holland, Ruth Hughes and Tracey Angus. We are pleased to say that we were able to raise a fantastic total of £1,670 - many thanks to all those who contributed. The total keeps on rising so if you wish to sponsor us, please feel free to do so here.
