16 June 2010 – High Court gives judgment in Drake v Harvey

The High Court has held that where a partnership deed was silent as to how the partnership assets were to be valued for the purposes of making payments to outgoing partners, the amount payable had to reflect a fair value of the partnership assets, and could not be based on historic accounts which greatly understated their value.
